In 2001, U.S. Army Staff Artist, Master Sergeant Henrietta M. Snowden was commissioned to create an illustrated book of Regular Army uniforms, 1775-2001, to be completed in June, 2009, in time for the opening of the National Museum of the United States Army. This print series serves as an introduction to the book and depicts contemporary Army activities beginning with Operation Enduring Freedom, 2001.
